Special children School & Re-Habilitation Centre Multan
Al-Noor Special Children School (ANSCS) was established in February 2001, initially to cater for the needs/rehabilitation of special children of army personnel in Multan Cantonment. This noble idea of setting up the school for 'Special Children' was conceived by Major General (now retired) Rafi Ullah Khan Niazi. The school was made a reality by establishing the school in a temporary campus, where the first class comprising 10 students and one teacher was started. This initiative proved to be extremely encouraging for the parents of the affected children, as they saw a ray of hope for the future of their loved ones. Later the local community of Multan started approaching the school for admissions of their children. Accordingly, the scope was enhanced and today the school owns an illustrious and spacious campus with 245 children (85 % civ and 15 % mil) being taken care of by a staff of 27. With a great degree of satisfaction and pride we can hope and pray that ANSCS will 'INSHALLAH' prove to be a 'Beacon of Hope' for hundreds of special children and their families.
To assist special children of various deformities to become useful members of the society by imparting quality education/training.
